Understanding refund eligibility and processing timelines
Refund Eligibility
Unless a specific fare or package states otherwise, the following refund schedule applies:
| Cancellation Received | Refund Eligibility |
|---|---|
| 30+ days before departure | Refund minus non-refundable agency fee and supplier penalties |
| 15–29 days before departure | 50% refund minus non-refundable agency fee and supplier penalties |
| 7–14 days before departure | 25% refund minus non-refundable agency fee and supplier penalties |
| Less than 7 days / no-show | Non-refundable |
Non-Refundable Items
The following charges are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Agency service and booking fees
- Credit card processing fees
- Supplier cancellation penalties
- Travel insurance premiums
- Basic Economy or non-refundable tickets
- Any amount already paid to a supplier that is not recoverable
- Fees for changes, name corrections, or reissues
Supplier Refunds
If a supplier (airline, hotel, cruise line, etc.) agrees to refund us, we will pass the refund to you after deducting our non-refundable fees and any processing costs. If the supplier issues a travel credit instead of cash, we will pass the credit according to supplier rules and restrictions.
Refund Processing Time
Eligible refunds are processed within 45 business days from the date we receive:
- A complete cancellation request in writing
- All required documentation
- Supplier confirmation of the refund
Refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible. Processing times may extend if the supplier delays returning funds to us.
Force Majeure
Refunds for cancellations due to events beyond our control are subject to supplier policies. These include:
- Weather events and natural disasters
- Strikes and labor actions
- War, terrorism, or civil unrest
- Pandemics and health emergencies
- Government actions or travel bans
Our non-refundable agency fees remain non-refundable even when force majeure events occur. We will work with suppliers to recover what we can and pass refunds to you.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for all bookings. Travel insurance typically covers:
- Trip cancellation for covered reasons
- Trip delays and interruptions
- Emergency medical expenses
- Baggage loss and delays
- Emergency evacuation
Insurance premiums are generally non-refundable and should be purchased at the time of booking for maximum coverage.
